Illumination |
|
What’s your creative vision? |
|
Be the lamp. |
|
While we live there will be darkness and
light, sun and shadow. Illumination is the emergence of light, a
transformation. Author Kathleen Norris writes, “When a place or time
seems touched by God, it is an overshadowing, a sudden eclipsing of my
priorities and plans. But even in terrible circumstances and calamities,
in matters of life and death, if I sense that I am in the shadow of God,
I find light, so much light that my vision improves dramatically.” (from Amazing Grace—A Vocabulary of Faith) |

Something you want to write? Something you want to sing or play? An
image you want to capture? A gathering you want to start? A story that
needs to be told? You can do it. Be illuminated, and by your work, be light. “...Light a lamp...and put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine...” (Matthew 5:15-16) |
